The cost of organizing a health camp varies depending on the location, travel distance, number of patients served, medical specialties provided (such as dentistry, gynecology, ophthalmology), and the medications and supplies required. Donations help cover transportation, fuel, medications, dental supplies, medical equipment, and meals for healthcare volunteers during the camp. To maximize the impact of every donation, Embrace Nepal Foundation's President and CEO personally cover their own travel expenses, allowing donor funds to go directly toward patient care and essential health camp operations.
 

Donations are used to provide medications, dental supplies, medical equipment, transportation, fuel, volunteer meals, clean water initiatives, children's dental programs, and other essential resources needed to deliver healthcare in underserved communities throughout Nepal. When specialty healthcare providers participate, donations may also help cover their professional fees. For remote locations requiring extended travel, donations may also support accommodations and meals for volunteers before and after the camp.
 

Your donations directly support essential healthcare, children's dental programs, clean water initiatives, health education, and other community projects that improve lives across Nepal. Embrace Nepal Foundation's U.S. board members serve as volunteers and do not receive salaries. Our President and CEO also personally cover their own travel expenses for health camps, allowing a greater percentage of donor funds to go directly toward patient care and community programs. We proudly collaborate with local governments, healthcare facilities, and nonprofit organizations to maximize our impact while ensuring donations are used responsibly and transparently.
